This is, by far, the oldest song on the EP. I originally wrote it when I was in my first (and so beloved) band, Modern Marriage, in Atlanta circa 2003 and we released a version of it on our only full-length album. I am very proud of that version as it represents me and us at that time but I am also proud of this rewrite as it shows how I've matured as a writer. It's still a ridiculous (but murderous!) song about a dog that destroys a Teddy Bear and the family that buries it.

On family night out
We left the dog at home
When we pulled back in the drive
He watched through the window

We knew he’d been a bad boy
From the guilty look he wore
And the stuffing strewn across the floor told the story
When we opened up the door

For her most beloved friend
I explained his body died
